Cartoons 2 / 3 / 4 / Main

Below is a selection of various wee cartoon ideas I've done
over the last few years, although I don't think of myself in any

way as a cartoonist. I'm much more interested in illustration and
general drawing and painting.

The Adventures of
Baron Von Helmut
(1999)
The Baron, Otto to his friends, is an adventurer, dilettante who's
inherited family lands and wealth allow him to journey to far off lands
in an attempt to further his appetite for all things occult.

VRAI (1993)
Set in a future where the internet has developed into a virtual universe
in it's own right with a myriad of life forms and cultures, many developed by
massive corporations to struggle over trillions of dollars in virtual commodities.
Others, long forgotten have developed a bizarre range of ecologies
and belief systems. ( 3 pages )

Ginger Perkins (1993)
Ginger Perkins lives in an alternate Earth where technology is at the cross-over
period between the late colonial 19th Century, and the early 20th Century with it's
focus on automation and the withdrawal of European states from
Africa and the Americas. ( 6 pages )

Bobby Buckaneer
(1992)
Probably the strip idea I've spent most time on as far as developing
and adding most detail to. It started as a one-off comic just done for a laugh
but I slowly had more and more ideas for the characterand his world.
