This is just a few more
images to give a feel for the style. At the time I was reading a lot of comparative
religion
(the original idea of the Kali Yuga is from Hinduism), & Mervyn Peake's,
'Gormenghast' trilogy which is filled with
rich imagery and strange characters.
I was also working offshore
at the time which added to some of my ideas for imagery. I did a lot of scribbles
with a black biro on lined pages of full scape paper like the one below
I did a sample page which
I want to produce more of, reflecting the allegory / metaphor ideas I'd like
to run throughout
this story as it unfolds.
